HÄRING HORSE EXERCISE SYSTEM
Since no space has to be reserved for a motor in the center, this central area stays permanently available – to be used for lunge work, familiarizing young horses or simply as storage space. Example: A 19 m system will leave a free area in the middle for lunge work of 14 m in diameter.
A HÄRING HORSE EXERCISING YARD is a showpiece for any riding stables. Its fine architectural lines lend it an air of elegance. The individual components of the system have been specially-constructed to suit the needs of horses. The construction is animal-safe, employing rounded supports and concealed fittings. The partition lattices are optimized and so proportioned that injuries cannot occur.
Horses don’t like to be cramped. Accordingly, the exercise/lead areas are 2.40 m wide. They can thus move freely and without anxiety.
Horses are communicative animals and want to know what is going on around them. They therefore like to keep their eye on the surroundings. For this reason, we have set the fence height at 2.50 m. This avoids horses straining themselves because of high fences or ‘tunnel’ situations.
Spruce is used as standard for the fence wood paneling. Other materials can be utilized if so desired – from red ironwood through to recycled plastic boards. With a thickness of 38 mm, the panels can withstand even serious impact. The panels are bedded into solid, hot-dip galvanized steel C-frames provided with drainage conduits.
Lightweight walls are available with pipework or wooden fencing. The use of Beo-Bands is also possible.
For door-work, the choice of single or double doors is available.
For external doors, sliding doors are also possible.
If the yard is to be sited in an especially exposed location, then a simple canopy roof can be installed to offer additional protection.
Protection from rain and wind can be guaranteed by installing windproof netting. A special fixing system means that individual windproof nets can be attached between the supports, making it easy to re-tension netting later. This increases the efficiency of the wind netting while also being visually more appealing.
For roof coverings, there are a number of possibilities, including corrugated roofing felt, profiled steel sheeting, asphalt shingles or even textile roofs. The textile-based roofing materials are especially ingenious in their construction. For a yard 19 m in diameter, for example, the roof above has 18 textile segments (‘triangles’), whose edges are beaded and slotted securely into solid frames.
No bad weather or storm has a chance of dislodging these segments.
In addition, a textile-based roofing material offers a seamlessly smooth appearance.
This patented system has already won over many owners of riding stables.
